“ Great food for not being a predominantly Portuguese or Brazilian area. Food is always fresh and hot. ”
“ Fairview BBQ has some delicious meat options for sure! This restaurant sits right in the middle of a residential block away from all the traffic is really worth a visit. My experience was strictly take outs but it was quite smooth, food was ready on time and all packaged up for me when I arrive. Both the BBQ chicken and the Pork Cubes were quite heavenly I only wished I had more of it! Out of the two I'd highly recommend the chicken for sure. The sides were pretty decent although I think they gave way too much rice for the amount of chicken but definitely a plus if you like your carbs :) A very nice local Brazilian style BBQ place well worth your visit if you're ever in the area. ”
“ I'll nominate myself for most absurd First World Problem thought from the good old days. On a trip to Fairview BBQ some time ago I thought there were too many fries. It would be physically impossible to finish the chicken and ribs combo and I didn't want to leave the meat unattended so I didn't get too far with the massive plate of fries. Fairview, even back then, was more of a takeout/delivery spot. So tonight's Uber Eats was spectacularly fast. And fear of getting sneezed on at Morton Williams has inspired me to change my controversial anti-leftover policy. Tonight I dove into the fries. I couldn't find my "backup ketchup packet" but they worked just fine with the accompanying red beans and hot sauce, and the stunning vinaigrette sauce, kind of spicy and somewhat pico del gallo-esque. The meat doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles and doesn't need them. The hit of charcoal smoke is enough. When every day feels the same, Fairview BBQ made it feel more like the weekend. Next time I may try the pork chop or steak to see if they're as dazzling as the pictures. ”
“ Good place to get something quick at night if you don't want to cook or don't have time. Whole chicken plus fries and salad for $20.00 for 4 people, can't beat that. We always order to go as there is no place to eat there, just a bar with stools during the winter. In the summer they have small tables at the sidewalk. We call and pick it up few minutes later as we lice close by. Good return for your buck! ”
“ No frills place that hits the spot when you're craving bbq. Menu is not very extensive but the food is very tasty. I had a craving to come here because this used to be Louie's BBQ pit which was bbq almost too good for this world. Sadly Louie's is no more here, and that was just next level. The cooking methods used now are different and the results are "decent" but nothing like Louie's (that's not a jab at Fairview, just Louie's was like some of the "BEST" I ever had). I have been to Fairview a few times and what I recommend most based on experience is what's pictured. The pork spare ribs with beans and rice. Don't get the french fries, they're just so so compared to the beans. Also the ribs are better when they leave them large. Sometimes they will cut them in pieces so just make sure to request them bigger size (as shown in pic). Finally, use the 2 sauces at least. It drives me nuts when people eat ribs with no sauce. ”
